WHat adapter? Oh, 110 to 12v. I don't have one.
I unplug mine at bedtime as sometimes you will hear it searching during the night. And takes the load off batteries also. I left it pugged in for a week once at a nascar race and it ran my chassis battery dead.
If I move my dome, I unplug/replug and let it do it's search again.
Be patient on the first downloads. It will take a long time to download the software and then the guide.
