Non contact Voltmeter
I'm looking for a volt meter that I can use to check DC voltage without cutting into the wire. I know that there is one for AC,but,is there one for DC? Any suggestions?

They make connectors that clamp on the wire that gives you a place to measure volts but they actually pierce the insulation. I use them to fed an extra circuit. You have to buy the right size for the wire gauge.
