Non contact Voltmeter
I'm looking for a volt meter that I can use to check DC voltage without cutting into the wire. I know that there is one for AC,but,is there one for DC? Any suggestions?

OP here.I found what I need.
You are right about reading DC volts,it can't be done with a clamp on meter.
What I got is a clamp on that reads AC/DC amps.Along with a set of probes for voltage and more. It will more than do for my needs.
I got it at Lowe's Southwire,model 21050T,it's a pretty neat little meter,pricey,but....Oh Well!
