Not Connected, Can't print to printer over wifi,

My lap top connects to my wifi router, my wifi enabled printer connects to my wifi router but when I try to print something I get a message that says not connected. I am getting a headache trying to ...

Are you selecting the right printer when you click "print"? On my computer, a box comes up listing several "printers" and I have to make sure the one I want is both listed and selected.
Some of the possibilities that I have are:
HP OfficeJet 6500
HP Envy 5535
Microsoft Print to PDF
Microsoft XDS Document Writer

Sometimes it also takes a while for the print job to start.
I think I also would remove and re-install the printer to make sure the printer is working properly with the laptop.
