I am not going through 5 pages of posts as I suspect they all say the same thing. 1/2 say yes and 1/2 say no.
I can tell you that I no longer need or us a GPS in my toad but I still keep one in the RV. When I get close to my destination in the RV I turn on the phone and use Google Maps to verify the location of my destination and the GPS directions. Google Maps is MUCH more up-to-date with road information and I verified that when a road that had been closed for 2 years was re-opened. Google Maps routed me around that now open road for about a week and then it started routing me correctly. That's an impossible capability with a GPS.
