Thank you. Well, that was easy. It's installing the maps on my SD card right now in my phone and was delighted to see that LIVE SERVICES are included the first year.
I also saw that there is basically no data useage for using the app other than the maps being downloaded. I chose North America since it was only a download difference between 2.43GB and 2.14GB for the USA. This is going to take awhile though... It's only 20% finished. Could take an hour at this rate.
(and yes, I made sure I was hooked to fast speed wifi and a fully charged battery before I started the install.)
I did notice that my LG G3 phone was set to a 50GB download limit / month from the factory. I changed that to 5GB per month. I'm not sure if that includes ALL the downloaded data or just the downloads that come via the Sprint network.
(I'll log in to my Sprint acct and see how much data was used by my phone number after this loads. It's really easy to monitor that right in my phone.)
