- Bill_SatelliteExplorer IIYourself? It's just connecting the hardware to the TV and maybe a couple of wires. Most of the systems are now wireless to the rear remotes so the setups are pretty easy for just about everyone.

Negative. You're assuming that I haven't already considered doing it myself and ruled it out before posting here.Bill.Satellite wrote:

This assumption is also incorrect. It's much more involved than connecting "a couple of wires". - TechWriterExplorer

I'm in need of a good RV home theater installer . . .
Are you talking about a system like you'd find in a house -- AV receiver, 5.1 speaker system, BluRay player, etc?
Or a "car" type system based on 12V power? - sstanfieExplorer

Yes exactly. I have a large flat screen TV that needs to be mounted, speaker wire that needs to be run and terminated, and speakers mounted.
I have several friends with the same setup, but unfortunately their previously installer is no longer in the business.
Thank you. - TechWriterExplorer

It sounds like you know pretty much what you want which puts you ahead of most folks.
The more specifics you know, the better if you have to cold-call a potential installer.
You might try starting with RV dealerships that also service RVs. They may have someone in house or know of someone. Regardless, ask about the installs they have done previously. If you're their first, I'd be wary.
I did my own install and pulling cable was the hardest part. - mileshuffExplorerTry Bell Rd. RV. They did some custom stereo installation on my TT as well as some cabinetry work. Great place for most any RV work.
- sstanfieExplorerThanks everyone for the info. I'll check it out.
- edhensleyExplorerIf bell rd does not work out PM me. They are right running the wires are interesting

I did consider that you may have considered doing it yourself I just think you need to give it a 2nd consideration. The systems actually are just a matter of connecting a couple of wires and maybe adding some wireless remote speakers but if that's not something you have any interest in I apologize for my response.
