I use a 400 watt model. One that size will not have to run the fan in order to provide the power to the TV, and that makes it more efficient than a 100 watt model that will run the fan (and the 100 watt model can be often had for $15.)
Totally agree. Any 12v TV/DVD combo you buy is going to be pretty substandard quality.
