Plugged in, not charging
Not a question, a solution.
I reported a few days ago my Dell laptop charger shorted out. Until I could get a new one, I rigged up a charger of lesser amperage, to which the Dell showed the Subject message.
Today I plugged in the replacement charger and the message did not go away. A bit of googling turned up some really weird and involved procedures.
I simply shut down the computer, removed and reseated the battery, plugged her back in and all was good. Battery is now charging.
