I get where you're coming from. I probably could've explained my question better. I wasn't suggesting replacing the bathroom in a travel trailer. I was just wondering if anyone has used a separate portable toilet when camping for longer periods or at a seasonal site where having an extra restroom outside might be convenient. I know most travel trailers already have built-in toilets. I was simply looking for real experiences from people who've tried something like that, not trying to post spam or clickbait.

I used to have a portapotty in my tent trailer as it had no bathroom, but I think your kinda throwing money away if you already have a bathroom inside. most campground have outhouses or bath houses you could use and save the money you would spend on a porta potty.

Ah. I've actually never heard of using a port a potty setup at a campground. Most of my friends who have seasonal sites have full hookups and sometimes "hard" connect the waste lines to the sewer hookup with rigid pipe. Not even sure it would be allowed at a campground. The ones you posted look like they have permanent hookups. So, you'd have to have all the plumbing in place to set it. And lastly, most campgrounds have public restrooms as well. Just seems like a solution in search of a problem.
