I use "non-slip" when parked and in motion,, You should not be in the trailer when it is moving so simply move the laptop to a place of security,, Say under the pillow on the bed.
Fact: I have 3 flat screen TVs in this rig
Front one is bolted to a frame,, Very solid (Same mount the old CRT monster used)
Rear #1 is on a swing arm,, Held in place by crossed bungee when moving
Rear #2 (Both of these serve double duty as TV's and monitors) goes in the laundry basket atop the laundry, either clean (Towels) or dirty (mixed) depending on when I last did laundry.
No problems, When I park it goes back on it's shelf mount.
