Prevent laptop sliding around non-permanently, inexpensively

I'm looking to mount a 17" laptop non-permanently to the top of this cabinet. The wall behind the cabinet is the front wall of the trailer. I wish to make no permanent changes to either the cabinet or...

Not sure why you would need the laptop on the counter while under way. I would just put it on the bunk when moving. But, if you need it there I say Velcro would do the trick.
