Prevent laptop sliding around non-permanently, inexpensively

I'm looking to mount a 17" laptop non-permanently to the top of this cabinet. The wall behind the cabinet is the front wall of the trailer. I wish to make no permanent changes to either the cabinet or...

Thank you, that's probably what I'll do. Velcro leaves gunk. Interesting-looking stuff.

I had also considered blocking it in with the clamps in the opening post and some two-by-fours, if anyone has experience with that.
