Prevent laptop sliding around non-permanently, inexpensively

I keep a roll of that blue masking tape used for painting; you know, the easy to remove kind. I just tape my laptop to the desk/table top when travelling. Throw tape away when you get there; it's cheap. Not elegant, but it works.
