Prevent laptop sliding around non-permanently, inexpensively

I'm looking to mount a 17" laptop non-permanently to the top of this cabinet. The wall behind the cabinet is the front wall of the trailer. I wish to make no permanent changes to either the cabinet or...

I would first geet some of the rubber anti skid material used for shelf lining. Put that on the counter with a bit going over the left and right sides to protect the cabinet finish.

The build a tray with the sides extending down below counter height. Put that on the counter and put the computer gear in it.

Can't go forward - wall
Can't go sidewards - pieces extending down the sides of the cabinet
Can't go back - rubber and no RV can accelerate hard enough.
