Do you have a wireless printer?

Getting a wireless printer today but I see no option on the phone to print...

The phone use to have an app called Motoprint but that was taken away after the jellybean update on my phone...

When you're out shopping for the printer, get one that advertises an Android printing app. Pretty much every brand supports this now, but they all have different names for it.

The other thing is, not every program on the phone supports printing, unlike Windows.

If you have a wireless printer or printer connected and to a pc on you ur home network, you can get an app to bridge your device to the printer. I use Cloud Print (Android) that is free on the Play Store and it works.

I found a Hp app for free that when I'm hooked to my home wifi I can print on my network's printer. I have the same phone.

I've done it various ways
I've found the easiest for me is too use the usb charger cable, plug into the pc
The pc will find the phone and list it as "media device" or "external sub drive"
Just use Windows to file search and view/print
Much easier to control the print functions sizes etc..from Windows
Yes I have a Wi-Fi capable printer, but it's cabled to the pc,
No discoveries, no passwords, no Wi-Fi networking, more control over the process
Especially for pictures

All we have is my smartphone and an Ipad3

Well then your going to need a Wi-Fi printer,
Or one with Bluetoothand "pair" it with your phone
My early results with Bluetooth were less than satisfactory

Install Google CHROME on a laptop / desktop that has a printer and enable Google CLOUD PRINT (in chrome settings) ... the pc will act as a print server, allowing your mobile devices to print to any printer the pc can print to.
