"Processes" running
How do you know which processes that are running are needed? How many is too many? I have approx. 60 running on mine.

Any utility from SysInternals is worthwhile. Mark Russinovich is a well-known Windows expert (and a Microsoft Technical Fellow as of a few years ago)
