This is incorrect if you use a Facebook page and not your regular Facebook account. Maybe some of you have never tried it, but there are thousands of businesses that use Facebook pages as part of their advertising; it wouldn't make any sense if pages were restricted to Facebook members only. For example, here's a page we go to often: Sierra Trading Post
Facebook pages can have their own unique URL so you can link to them. Just look at the link in my signature.
One other thing that's nice is that you can make a page open to anyone while still retaining whatever privacy settings you want for your own Facebook account.
