Questions -Loading POIs on a Garmin dezl 760?
I've tried to load POIs on my 760 before and was not successful - I tend to "fight" with software when it isn't overly simple...... 1. There appears to be many places on the internet to download P...

A) - That's CSV - Comma Separated Value - the file type to save the spreadsheet as.
B) - If you don't have Microsoft Excel to work on spreadsheets, you can edit the CSV files in any text editor. But I use a free spreadsheet program that's part of the WPS Office Suite - it looks and works almost exactly like Excel, but it's free.
B) - to edit (or create) a Garmin POI file, check out Extra POI Editor. There are some other interesting GPS tweakers available there as well.
Have fun- customizing those POI files can get addictive.
