Rand McNally GPS App for iPad

I've been known to rant about the Rand GPS in our new ERA 70x at era70x.com. But I downloaded the upgrade via the Rand docker to the SD card and it performs much better. Still not as good as the Garmin, but at least 80% usable now vs. 10% at best before. The database of the Rand is still worse than the Garmin, but whatever. Before spending $$ for the Rand, make sure to check all your options. I'll post a head to head comparison of the Garmin v Rand on our blog soon.

if you can see it in the App Store on the iPhone, then the answer is yes. It may or may not be the same app as is used with the iPad.

You might read some of the reviews because there's a few goofy things it does. Disabling the nav until it can do a map upgrade sure doesn't make sense if you're on the road
