Remote temperature monitoring

Does anyone know the best way to remotely monitor the temperature in our rv via smart phone ? We sometimes have to leave our small dog in a kennel in the rv and are concerned about the temp inside getting too hot due to a power outage while we are away. The campgrounds we frequent have wi-fi . Thanks for any help.

    Take a look at this, it's what i use. Has a phone app and a web interface. Will do an alert on temp or power change both email and text message. Does not use wi-fi. Uses the Verizon network, you do not add it to a personal account that is included in the $14.99 per month monitoring fee.

    I have no experience with it and didn't check all details, but it looks like it could send an email or text to your phone from a laptop inside the camper if temp exceeded a certain threshold.
