Have you experimented with position of the phone in the cradle to see if that helps for the Inspire? There has to be some explanation for why it isn't working.
I took the protective case off and tried it, restarted the phone etc. Will try later after we get caught up with our net stuff.
Also, sent a request to 3g store, to see what they have to say.
I'll try moving it around and see what happens.
