Roku in motorhome

I have a Roku stick on my home tv which I rarely use. My question is, can I use this device on my MH tv to get tv reception at the campground. I have an iPhone with Verizon service and "unlimited" data. Can I use my iPhone as a mobile hotspot and connect it to the Roku device to at least get youtube etc?
  • Your only problem will be 15GB will last only about 10 days if you watch much TV at all.
  • Thanks very much for the information. I am going to hook it up now and give it a try.
  • Yes, but to make it more steady in streaming from a cellphone hotspot go into the Roku settings and change it to 720p on the picture quality, streaming is much easier then as compared to using 1080p which you likely had it set for from an in house wifi.

Yes. We do it all the time.

Do you have Verizon? I am told I can use up to 15GB per device on 4G. Is that similar to yours? Thanks.
