RV Tracking Software?

Hi all

I used to have a windows app called RVNotebook but it is no longer supported. Apparently Microsoft has also cancelled Streets and Trips. So my favorite tools to plan and track where I have been are gone. I would like to keep track of my campgrounds, places I go, vehicle maintenance records, fuel etc. Trip planning would also be nice.

Does anyone know of a windows app that does that stuff? Are we going back to paper?

  • There is an app that runs on both Windows and Mac written by an RVer called RV Care. I haven't tried it myself (yet), but it does appear to do almost everything.
  • RV Notebook still runs fine, even on W10 (in Compatibility Mode). It simply has no support or updates, due to the death of its developer (Mickey Ivey).

Haven't found anything quite as good, yet.
  • Both Apple (for iOS) and Google have basic spreadsheets that can do anything you want, and far more

While I do not know what RV notebook does have you considered a spreadsheat?

You can put a lot of data into one of those.. There are a couple of Open Office competitors, both have spreadsheets.. I'd recommend any of them.. only one I do not recommend is Microsoft since the new version may not like the older files and the other way around.. THe Open office program I use likes ALL microsoft spreadsheets.
