Is there anybody else out there that has a Travel Trailer or RV and would like to purchase an Satellite Antenna & Receiver and pay as you go without having to sign up with a provider mandating home use? I have cable @ home and don't wish to have a Dish on my house or in my yard. Anyone or any provider offer a solution to my issue? Planning to retire and wish to travel the country and still get decent TV coverage. Please help !Thanks, Gary

Dish pay as you go. But honestly once you go sat you will probably change your mind and want satelite service at home too. I would never consider going back. We take receiver from home, so we have zero learning curve, and the same channel lineup both at home and on the road.

Dish Pay as You Go appears to be what you are looking for.

Neither Dish NOR DirecTV require you have a home account. IN FACT there is an advantage to an RV only account.

NOTE: WIth DirecTV you may have to call in 2 or 3 times and finally tell them "If you switch me to King Controls one more time I'm calling DIsh".

Do not knwo how to get Dish to cooprate.. You can sign up at Camping world, they knwo.

It was an erroneous statement based upon the flawed assumption that the only way to get the Dish Pay-as-you-go or DirecT service in an RV is by using a dome style antenna. With a dome there is no HD with DirecTV but it is available from Dish. I, also, am in an RV with full HD DirecTV. For the OP, however, Dish Pay-as-you-go is the best option for the way he wants to use the service.

I don't know where you came up with that. I have HD in my house and on the road. Maybe you should consider upgrading your equipment.

We have the Pay as you go from Dish and have Cable at home. Works best for us.
