- pianotunaNomad IIIHi,
In motion internet access is essentially not available as the company that made the dishes is out of business. It will be expensive and slow, typically not much faster than dial up. Latency will kill off some connections, and places such as banking sites would be too happy either.
Unless you camp where there is no cell phone signal and MUST have internet I'd recommend Millenicom (verizon flavor) as a much cheaper, faster and reliable way to connect. Millenicom - Tom_BarbExplorerIf I have a cell connection I have internet.
my new phone will provide WIFI for my big apple, iMac - Big_KatunaExplorer IIYou can. Its expensive and slow. Not user friendly. Officially it is prohibited to use it mobile in an RV setting. People do it. You will get NO support from Hughes. WIFI and cell net service is getting better and better. Not to sound mean, but if you are asking, you probably should steer clear. If you were a techie capable of doing it, you would not be asking here.
