I down loaded a couple of free sat apps. Didn't work for me. I found down loading a compass app, looking at Dish #s on the TV, look for opening in the trees, if any, seems to work best. Takes all of 5 minutes to set up my manual dish. The reason for compass app is it isn't effected by metal objects and seems more stable for pointing the dish. I can lay my smart phone right on top of the dish unit when pointing. My 65 year old boy scout compass didn't seem that accurate for pointing although it got me home a couple of times. :B
