Setting up IP Camera - need DNS - ideas?
Hey all! I'm setting up an IP camera to monitor the sticks and bricks while on the road, etc. To allow for remote access, instructions say I need to establish a DNS, since my ISP uses a dynamic IP address. This all sounds cool, but I have only limited concept of what it all means...! A couple of the DNS providers listed also charge a yearly fee, albeit not much - $15 to $25. Did a search and find there are multiple free DNS providers, including Google. Anyone more well versed than me have any insight/comments/suggestions??? As usual, I appreciate your input! ST
