Absolutely agree (me too), but I use the rest stops on the interstates and if on a 2 lane highway, it's sometimes easiest to pull over at a place that has lots easier parking, if you don't want to use a Pilot, etc. Or just pull in and don't get fuel.

I know this is not exactly what you are asking but here's what I do and it may help you.

I generally do not stop for fuel during the day but go get fuel either after I've set up in a campground in the evening or in the morning before I leave. I use gas buddy to find fuel. This way I can use the 'normal' stations if they are around. Many times I need to get groceries, or grab pizza etc anyway so I just combine everything into one trip. This works well most of the time.

Another app (for androids at least) is fuel book 2.0 It is a fre truck stop locator. Now it doesn't say whether they have RV lanes or not (at least not that I recall) but because it is a truck stop locator you know that it is accessible for larger rigs.

I too have - My Pilot...Loves... Gas Buddy.... on the My Pilot you can select nearby locations , once there you can tap that location and all the info comes up...I just did it and it shows me that the closest to me right now is Flying J in Carney's Point NJ Diesel is 3.899 unleaded is 3.119 DEF is 2.799... they have Bulk propane , CAT Scales , RV Dump Station , 2 RV Lanes . and a bunch of other amenities that I won't list...

I use DAT Trucker Services on my Android. It finds both regular truck stops as well as smaller stations that have truck pumps capable of handling large rigs. It also displays prices.

I never use RV lanes at truck stops or elsewhere. Unfortunately, many RV owners don't understand the courtesies of pumping and pulling forward so others can pump. All too often I encounter unattended RV's sitting in fueling lanes while their owners are inside eating lunch. That rarely happens in a truck lane; truckers know to move their rig after fueling.

I just use gasbuddy and have yet to find a station I couldnt get in or out of. With a small rig like yours you shouldn't have any problems and you can get better prices at most of the smaller stations.

I have the pilot, loves and gas buddy apps. Between the 3 I can at least find a truck stop big enough for me and the 5th wheel, and if none are near by I can find diesel places and see how tight the location really is.

That's a bummer. I really liked the FlyingJ dedicated pumps. I stopped at 2 FlyingJ's strictly because of this. We did stop at a Wilcox (Exit 318, I-75, near Adairsville, GA) that had diesel pumps off to the side of their main pumps. However, they did not take credit cards at the pump, so we kept going.

The only gas stations I'm aware of that have dedicated RV lanes are the Flying J truck stops.....Pilot, who now owns Flying J, does not have that feature at their locations. There is an app called "My Pilot" which will find all locations of both Flying J and Pilot locations as you travel.
