- wbwoodExplorerI usually would promote CW, but I have considered the solar thing and whether or not to have them do it. I do agree that they install stuff on RV's and should be good at it. My main concern is going with the solar product they sell. It's pretty much limited and it's really not an expertise of theirs. I would rather find someone that sells a product that will be more compatible and that gives you more options. Someone who sells and installs solar all day long, every day gets my vote.If you can get to one that specializes in RV's, even better.
- 2StarsExplorerCamping World is currently running a special of $29 install for anything they sell. It is advertised on front of the current flyer. Seems that would be a really good deal for you.

I didn't include direct contact info as I don't endorse them and I have had no experience with them other than some word of mouth from a couple of folks that used them. It was in a magazine called "OCsuperads.com". - Basic stuff can be had for less at www.solarblvd.com in Norco CA.
Not terribly difficult self install.
Panel -> controller -> Battery - YosemitebobrExplorerThank you everyone for your comments, I must soak all this in now and follow some links that were provided.
- pianotunaNomad IIIHi Shadow,
Golden Rules of Solar is a much better resource than Handy (rant) Bob. - Shadow_CatcherExplorerYou need to be knowledgeable or you are fresh meat. The test is cost per watt and can they install with proper size wire so there is not a significant voltage drop and have a good quality controller, I have a Morningstar MPPT SunSaver and a 185W high voltage panel installed four years ago. Prices are lower now.
Google Handy Bob Solar - HelimechExplorerI bought the bits and pieces and took them to a local RV store. They did a great install.
- We_Cant_WaitExplorerToo many issues here with work that Camping World has done on units. Any home solar installer will be able to route wires hidden and do a MUCH better job of setting up as FULLY functional solar system then camping world will do.
- stevekkExplorerThink about making a trip to Oregon and going to AM Solar.
Thats all they do is RV solar.
Plus no sales tax.
