I tested it with IE8 and Firefox on XP. With IE8 I get the message, can simply hit yes to stop the script. It has several of them so will have to hit yes several times. With Firefox it behaves and opens just fine. Seems more and more sites are having trouble with IE8 and scripts so is becoming a rather common problem. Unfortunately if you are running XP that is the latest version of IE that will run on it. I would simply install Firefox and make it my default. You can also go here
Microsoft Support and use the fix it button. Might eliminate the error pop up but page will likely still load very slow.
