Thanks to Mr.Wizard, I now know what a DIN is,always willing to learn and there is a lot I don't know..I had never heard of a DIN before!
Before you get crazy taking that dash out go on line and look it up how to remove one!!
I thought the same too and found out, actually from this forum, how to take it out myself. There is frame or mounting around it that does come out to access replacement with OUT dismantling the dash.
Unless your RV is over 40 years old they ALL just pop out thru the radio opening. Some you might need a tool and some are tricky but IMHO do take the time to research it before you proceed!
