OK, I reversed the order. Actually, I would have recommended manually changing the protocol settings back from IMAP to POP3. Unless you originally set TB to save copies of your emails on the server in POP, your locally stored emails could be lost if you delete the old account when you setup a new account. IMAP saves the emails automatically, and all your client is doing is syncing between the two. In fact, I use IMAP for all my emails except Outlook.com as the free version does not support IMAP. MS uses their own proprietary IMAP like protocol in their Windows Mail client.
