Too Much Spam with Yahoo

If you mark some of them as spam, it will help. However, other email services are better at catching it than Yahoo. Between that and their constant down-time, I switched to Gmail several years ago.

You can forward your Yahoo mail to your gmail for a while, to make sure you get everything changed that you need to.
