Yahoo Mail Spam Filter

I can't stop the ones that state the sender is my email.

Does Yahoo Mail let you set up custom filtering like Google Mail?

You can go to settings and set a filter on "Dr Oz" and send it straight to trash. I have a number of such filters on my account.

Do remember to scan the spam folder though I find some messages getting sent there in error.

And I've never seen a Dr. Oz add.
NOTE: Yahoo Web Mail the top listed item may be an ad not a E-mail. you can't spam display ads (Banner ads) since it's nto an e-mail.

I have had it for years and nothing gets through - I pay about $10 a year or an upgraded version (not sure what that does) and I am in the lower states.

Both Verizon and ATT e-mail use Yahoo. I use ATT and once I click that it is spam I never see it again. One thing I think helps a lot. I have personal e-mail account and I have a junk e-mail account. When I order on the internet or sign in to forums they get my junk e-mail address so when they sell my e-mail address it really doesn't cause any problems. Just go through and erase the junk. I only read e-mails from companies I recently ordered from for confirmations and shipping. Everything else gets dumped without reading.
