It's not the prospect of Windows 11, 12 or 39 that bothers me. It's how gullible double digit IQ John Q Public types eat PLANNED OBSOLESCENCE up like it was popcorn.
It takes 1,000 times more storage, memory and speed on my computer to do exactly the same thing Windows XP did. But when the computer breaks or a new but not any better program supersedes an identical program but forces the user to upgrade hardware, this is just plain nuts.
This is exactly the same thing as finding out you cannot buy tail light lenses for your trust old work car any more.
This has morphed into a "Chew & Spit" society except now the flavor and color are artificial, and damned poor imitations at that...
