I vaguely remember that each 4k cost about $10k, so with inflation figured in you should be able to sell it for about $100k :-) If anybody is looking for PDP-8 parts, I have a controller for the 1 megabyte cartridge disk. One of my claims-to-fame was being able to key in the RIM loaded from memory in about 5 seconds. It was a fun system at the time: Original 8 with 8k core, EAE, ASR35, A/D, D/A, and Calcomp plotter. We eventually got the 32k hard disk before going to the astronomical 1 meg disk.
