Mod my RV website has the rewire mod that may alleviate your situation. We did this mod over a decade ago to our supposedly satellite ready rig, we found our single exterior coax input ran directly to a splitter, since mod we have no issues using satellite, OTA, or even cable, which is rare since degraded video and severely lacking channel content leads us to go satellite in most cases.
