Second, do you have visual access to each splitter? You label them as SWM so I will assume they are power passing. If the toner sound is weak it could be the signal is passing through another unseen splitter. Have you installed the receivers/ antenna yet to see if it works?
I can see the one known splitter in the basement used for the cable/ota jack.
My 'Assumption' is that the wires from the outside are not split anywhere on their runs to the two endpoints, living room and the amplifier.
The power inserter is shown on the left of the basement section. Red box on left with 'inserter' vertical next to it.
The SWM splitters I have to install, they will be here Tuesday. The hr24 will be here tomorrow. The SWM LNB 3 Dish and tripod are ready. The two h25's will be here Wednesday/Thursday.
Notice the PI is BEFORE the first splitter, so power passing is not used here.
