And if your TV has ANY custom functions other than power, volume, and channel, you can likely junk that "universal" remote because it wont work. Those cheepies simply duplicate the basic functions of any given manufacturer off the IR control master list with minimum buttons.

If all you want is those functions, buy a $9 DirecTV remote

X2 for this... I got an exact replacement remote for my RV television, at a really reasonable price.

Dollar Tree has remotes for.. Well, Everything in the store is $1.00.

You may need a 100 power magnifing glass to read the instructions if they are there (or I have a pdf copy that is not too bad) but they have 'em and thy do work,,Sometimes.

For 50/up you can get a Universal at places like Fry's, Best Buy, MIcro Cener and such.. Very fancy, you can download bin fils for some of them.. They almost always work.

Anothr trick,which I have used, is this.

GOOGLE: TV-Make,TV-MOdel, REMOTE

Likely get one off E-bay designd specific for your device, for like 10 bucks.. (what I paid for mine).
