TV swing out mount - Which wall can support
Can Interior walls take the weight of a swing out 24" TV? where can i hang it or is just a bad idea and use the counter.

What most of us do is use a backboard across the wall to spread out the weight...
I use a 3/4-inch board and have it painted to match the decor of the room.
Once the backboard is in place then you can just use regular screws into it to support the bigger TV
It looks something like this...
or this...
If the backboard doesnt tie into something thicker then you can use what they call MOLLY BOLTS to secure the backboard in place...
