Do you have an android phone or table? If so, then install an app called WIFI Manager. It is a free app. It will tell you all of the signals it sees, the channel and the strength.
To change the channel, you do it in the setup menu of the router;the menus where you set the router up for security, and the router functions. The wireless on the computer scans all channels automatically so there is no setup required on them.
There probably is an application that can do the same running on a wireless laptop computer, but I haven't looked for one because I use my smart phone or table more than my laptop.
