Update: wifi router only connects if unplug/plug power

I looked at a description of a PC app...ugh. Will look at the phone app too.

I had the laptop fail to connect again, and I brought it close to router, but 'Repair' still would not connect. Restart did the trick, but...

With the laptop 5 ft from router, its Realtek adapter monitor software indicated only 85% signal strength, and a terrible 75% link quality, almost same as when it's near desktop, 30 ft and 3 walls away. And, the link quality monitor of the desktop linksys adapter says 100%???
