Does the internet data thru cable require electricity??
I was chasing a few potential causes for my sporatic inability to reconnect w/o resetting router power. I took out a splitter I had added to move router to living room, but this did not change anything.
I went into our attic and unplugged a DC amplifier (SV-A15PRS 15db gain). This shut down the internet data, but restoring its power did not affect Realtek readings on laptop adapter. Still had to reset router power to get a connection, despite steady signal strength readings from REALTEK.
Can anyone tell me stuff about this SV-A15PRS 15db gain DC to RF amp?
