Update: wifi router only connects if unplug/plug power

Well, I could try to makr this interesting for all, but I’m afraid only the deep-in-the-weeds techies will find it so… Moved our cable modem and Linksys WRT54G2 dual band router 30 ft and 3 interio...

OP: sorry if I missed this but have you ever updated the firmware on your old routers?

One of my routers had problems until I updated firmware.

Another router started having problems no matter what I did so I returned it under warranty and no problems since. You won't have warranty but your router may have failed - try a new one.
