Upgrade Verizon Jetpack
Our current Verizon 4510 hotspot is giving up, do I get the upgrade (Ellipsis Jet Pack for Free) or just use our Ellipsis 7 Tablet as a MIFI hot spot for the laptops when camping?

Taking the "free" upgrade renews your contract for another 2 years. If that's something you're OK with, then go for it. The little jetpack is easier to strap into a Wilson booster cradle if you're out in the bush and have a weak cell signal.
