USB Wall Charger With Superior Lifespan

I paid thirteen dollars plus shipping for a USB receptacle 5.0 volt charger (2 slots) exactly 23 months ago. It was hooted as being "superior longest-lived ultra-durable"

I got took...should have filtered out the reviews from people who opened the package grabbed the charger and ran to the keyboard.

So, not saying sales reviews are heavily prejudiced by double-digit IQ, or paid reviewers...

Have any of you had consistent good luck meaning "It has been used every day for "X" years, flawlessly? Chinese garbage on Mexican power = rapid failure.

I am danged near ready to purchase a Meanwell 25 watt power supply and Mil-Spec micro USB cables. There has to be a better way :(

You can make your own easily enough. AllElectronics (dot com) has an assortment of Buck/Boost devices,, Set one to 5 volts out, some can do 2,3,4,amps or more and add a couple of USB ports, Feed it with a high amperage DC supply (I have 3 and 7 in stock, not to mention one that can hit 80 and one that is out of service just now but it hit 101 once.. Yes that's amps folks at 12 volt DC or there abouts .. Converters)
  • How clean is the electricity there abouts? You seem to have an overabundance of issues with electronic doodads. Maybe the problem isn't with the products but the spikes and dips of the input.
