The Verizon's wireless website should show you how minx data you actually use. If not, then a store representative should. Don't ask them how to save you money. Just ask how much data you use. Then you can decide if the new plans will save you. I bet they do.
You can track your data.. the "My Verizon" app let's you check data usage as often as you like.
