If the jetpack talks to the computer, If you can access the jetpack menus from the computer, then it is ****NOT**** the comptuer's problem
It may be the Jet-Pack, or it may be the Tower, or it might be signal strength or 3rd party interference (IE: MSW inverter power, not necessarily yours) knocking it off line, but it is NOT the computer.
I have a problem here from time to time, Finally figured it out, where the computer suddenly shows Limited on the internet connection and it will not talk to the outside world beyond the router... The old Win-eXtra Painful never did this, solution is to disconnect and reconnect from router.
OH,, A note follows. Turns out the problem is NOT with the computer, nor the router. it's with the Modem-Park router link (Yes, I have a Wi-Fi "Modem", looks like a cable modem to my router but is in fact a Wi-Fi Adapter).
When the park router flakes and auto-resets I loose internet, for a second, this trips the "Limited" flag and it remains till I reset.
IF you have newer windows (I have 8.1) this may be what is happening to you.. again it is NOT the computer that is the problem.. But in this case an XP machine (or older) would likely just pause a bit where as an 8.x machine stalls out and needs to have the connection re-started.
Good old Microsoft,, It is not broken, so let's fix it.
