Not asking about Verizon cell service !
Ask Verison, but the way they explained it to me that it would work off my Verison plan so if I am using the at home service in my coach it will work anywhere I drive my coach including Canada using up my plan minutes just as I would be using my cell phone from Verison and as long as I get a signal. - Maxi_SignalExplorer

Question for any users, if you have the "International" plan on these services can you make and/or receive calls in Canada ?

Straight talk does not cover Canada . You have to get a North America's choice plan direct from Verizon - gmctoymanExplorerNot asking about Verizon cell service !

My Verizon works fine (except Voice-mail) but costs me 69c/minute roaming in Canada.
our Verizon cell phone worked great in Canada.
I thought the North American plan limited your total minutes to 150?
On my North American plan I have the same minutes on both sides of the border with NO extra roaming chargers or Long Distance charges. I have had this plan for years and never change it or "upgrade" or get a new cell phone. I still have the original phone. Works for me. - kaydeejayExplorer

- Gadget_Guy1ExplorerI have the North American plan on my Verizon cell phone and,it works the same in Canada as the US except to access my voice mail. In Canada I have to actually dial my own number to access my voice mail. The charges are the same in the US and Canada.
